Biography
Bulent Yesilata is a Professor at Mechanical Engineering Department of Harran University, Sanliurfa/Turkey. He received his Ph.D. degree in 1999 from Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics at Lehigh University, USA. He conducted a post doctorate-study at MIT Hatsopoulos Micro-fluid Laboratory between 2002-2003. His main expertise lays in basic and applied thermo-fluid science. His research interests, from rheological point of view, include polymeric/viscoelastic flow instabilities in closed conduits, viscous heating effect in rheological flows, shear and extensional flow dynamics of micellar fuids, and modeling of shear-banding phenomena.
